I think by now, we’ve all heard of the ever so trendy “Frank” body scrub. Yes, it sounds awesome, however I decided I would save myself the money, and do it myself. The Frank body scrub comes in a paper bag and contains 7oz. The container I put my scrub in fits 16oz…however,the recipe I followed makes a little more than that, so I put the remaining scrub in an extra container.
1/2 cup Coconut oil
3/4 cup Brown sugar
3/4 cup Coffee grounds
1 teaspoon Almond oil
1 teaspoon Grape seed oil
A pinch of Cinnamon
This coffee scrub is not only moisturizing, but helps with cellulite, firming of the skin, stretch marks, acne, psoriasis, varicose veins, and more. I rub this scrub on in the shower and wait about 10-15 minutes, and then rinse it off. It leaves my skin feeling like a baby’s butt(SERIOUSLY!) It smells amazing, and when I get out of the shower, I don’t even need to put lotion on!
Give it a try, save yourself some money, and let me know how it works out for you!
This year, the British nail brand Ciaté’launched their new Caviar manicure sets. The sets come in three different colors, back, white, and rainbow. The set includes an actual nail color, the caviar beads, a funnel, and a tray. Your supposed to paint on a coat of nail polish, and then after the second coat, while the nail is still wet, pour on the beads. Gently press on the nail to secure any loose beads, and voila your done! You can add a clear top coat if you want, but that kind of ruins the effect.
This nail trend is going to be super cute for summer, and maybe even transition into fall. The nail sets retail for about $25.00 at Sephora. Because the nail effect only lasts for a day or two, I personally would not pay $25.00 for it. Instead, I went to Michael’s and bought a set of scrap booking micro beads. I decided to make this DIY and save a couple bucks. The pack I bought came with six different colors, and only costs me $6.00. This three -dimensional effect the beads give the nails is to die for. I tried this out in a turquoise color last week, and it looked super fun, especially for summer. Today I painted my nails red with OPI’s Vodka & Caviar and I thought what better to go with this color than the caviar beads. I applied the beads on my ring fingers. I loved how elegant the beads looked on my red nails. I will be trying the caviar manicure in different colors this summer. Try it out and let me know if you like this nail trend!
